Occasionally ideas for individual or a series of photographs will wander randomly into my thoughts. This section of the website will in time come to show those ideas that develop into actual images.
The first project, entitled ‘The Year of the Rabbit’, is a collection of photographs (taken in 2009) of people I know, in rabbit form. This project is currently on hiatus for the time being.
Pentacon Six
The other gallery on this page is more a random collection of images, resulting from familiarising myself with a recently acquired vintage ‘Pentacon Six’ camera. The Pentacon Six was developed in Germany in the 1950’s, uses medium format 120 film, and produces images quite different to the digital cameras of today. This gallery will group together some of the results (with varying degrees of success) of my experiments with the camera. The Rabbit photographs are also taken with the Pentacon Six.
