Weddings are just one area of photography which I’ve ventured into. In this section you’ll find various other subjects which I’ve explored in recent times.

From a long standing love of live music, the concert photography just seemed a natural route to take. To date it’s been mainly of local bands, and nearly always from a fixed location within the crowd. Certainly one day, I would relish the opportunity to capture something on a bigger stage, with the potential of utilising the improved lighting and the freedom of movement between vantage points.

A seemingly mutual affinity with animals has led to numerous photos of the little furry fellas… a selection of which you’ll find in the Pets/Animals gallery.

People and portraiture is something that I want and need to concentrate more on in the future. For now, you’ll find a small collection of friends and family photos here. There is also a gallery of the little people on the Sons and Daughters page.

Get up close and personal with tiny creatures in the Entomology gallery, with green things in the Plant Life gallery… and with our feathered friends in The Birds gallery.

Street scenes from Manchester, Vienna, London and York, including bikers, dog lovers, zombies and man-butterflies… the usual sort of everyday encounters really.

There’s also a selection of some of the places I’ve found myself in recent times, and a few snaps from my iPhone from when I’ve not got my camera on me.
